Combining the therapeutic effects of far infrared thermotherapy, magnetic therapy and massaging vibration Multi-Effect Prostatitis Treatment Device is highly effective in treating prostate diseases. Its treatment probe can send out heat energy in the form of far infrared light which heats the focus of disease at a selectable temperature between 38-47 to improve the microcirculation and relive pain. Operating instructions:
Press the power switch, LCD screen starts to display the initial value, and the doctor may adjust setting according to the patient' s specific conditions.

Treatment temperature can be set within range of 38  ~ 47  . The temperature can adjusted by Temperature Key ²

Vibration can be adjusted at three levels: 0 ( stop) ; ` ( slow vibration) ; a( fast vibration) ; " 0" " ` " " a" through Vibration key² settings.

Functions such as vibration and thermotherapy of the instrument can be applied simultaneously or separately. When vibration is not required, the vibration level should be set at " 0" . When thermotherapy is not required, the temperature should be set at 38  .

Temperature is usually set at round 42 ~ 43  , vibration is usually set at " ` " level and the default light setting is " On" .

Adjust the time button² to set the treatment time when all other settings have been finished.Time setting increases/ decreases at 1 min every time pressing the button. Treatment time setting range is 20 ~ 80 min, usually it is set between 30 min ~ 40min)

Place static magnetic sheet between the umbilicus and symphysis pubis ( as illustrated below) , the sheet should be fastened with bandage for medical use. The patient lies down on his side. Disinfect the area around anus with 75 percent medical alcohol using cotton balls, and then put a condom on the treatment probe and insert the probe into the rectum at the depth of about 6 ~ 8cm.

Press " Start/ Stop" button, the apparatus starts to work, and then time countdowns to zero at the end of treatment.

When the temperature settings and/ or vibration settings need to be adjusted during the process of treatment, please press " Start / Stop" button first to stop the treatment, change the settings, and then press " Start / Stop" button to continue treatment.

Press " Reset" button at the end of treatment and the screen shows the initial setting. Then switch off the power.

Remove the treatment probe, remove the condom ( condoms for one-time use only) , and then remove static sheet.

Was ist eine Prostatitis?

Die Prostata ist relativ hä ufig von Entzü ndungen betroffen. Man schä tzt, dass bis zu 30 Prozent der Mä nner zwischen 20 und 50 Jahren regelmä ß ig an prostatischen Beschwerden leiden. Ursache der Entzü ndung kö nnen Bakterien sein, die aus dem Blut oder ü ber die Harnrö hre in die Prostata gelangt sind ( bakterielle Prostatitis) . Als abakterielle Prostatitis bezeichnet man die Infektion der Prostata mit so genannten atypischen Bakterien ( Mycoplasmen, Chlamydien, Ureaplasmen) . Selten sind Verengungen in den ableitenden Prostatawegen ( Tumoren, Prostatasteine, Harnrö hrenverengung) die Ursache der Entzü ndung. Prostatitiden kö nnen akut, also nur fü r kurze Zeit, auftreten, aber auch chronisch sein und lä nger anhalten. In einigen Fä llen kann kein Erreger gefunden werden, der fü r die Beschwerden verantwortlich ist. In diesem Fall spricht man von Prostatadynie, deren Ursachen bisher nicht geklä rt sind. Neben einer ausgewogenen Ernä hrung und ausreichender kö rperlicher Betä tigung scheint ein reges Sexualleben vor einer Prostatitis zu schü tzen. Wenn die Drü se regelmä ß ig entleert wird, sind Infektionen seltener.

Welche Beschwerden verursacht eine Prostatitis?

Fieber, Schü ttelfrost, Hä ufiger Harndrang, Abgeschwä chter Harnstrahl, Harnträ ufeln, Schmerzen beim Wasserlassen, Schmerzen bei der Ejakulation, Schmerzhafter Stuhlgang, Hä ufiger Stuhldrang, Krampfartige Unterbauchschmerzen, Ausfluss aus der Harnrö hre, Schmerzen im unteren Wirbelsä ulenbereich und in der Lendenregion.
Bei der chronischen Form kann das Fieber fehlen, die Beschwerden sind allgemein etwas weniger stark ausgeprä gt und diffuser. Hä ufiger kommt es dabei zu Ausfluss aus der Harnrö hre, sowie zu Schmerzen in der Dammregion und Rü ckenschmerzen. Auch Libido- und Potenzstö rungen treten bei der chronischen Form hä ufiger auf.

Welche Komplikationen kö nnen auftreten?
Wenn sich eine eitrige Entzü ndung der Prostata abkapselt, entsteht ein Prostataabszess. Das Fieber steigt dann sehr hoch an, hä ufig mit Schü ttelfrost. Das Allgemeinbefinden verschlechtert sich rapide und es kommt zu einem Krä fteverfall mit zunehmenden Dauerschmerzen im After- und Dammbereich.

Wie stellt der Arzt die Diagnose?
Wichtigste Untersuchung ist die Testung des Urins auf Krankheitserreger und Entzü ndungszeichen. Bei der rektalen Palpation beurteilt der Arzt durch Betasten der Prostata vom Enddarm aus, ob die Drü se entzü ndlich verä ndert ist.
Wenn eine Entzü ndung vorliegt, ist die Vorsteherdrü se sehr empfindlich und die Untersuchung kann schmerzhaft sein. Durch leichten Druck auf die Drü se gewinnt der Arzt etwas Prostatasekret, das ebenfalls im Labor auf Entzü ndungszeichen untersucht wird. Eine Ultraschalluntersuchung der Prostata kann in unklaren Fä llen weitere Hinweise geben.

Wie wird die Prostatitis behandelt?
Bakterielle Entzü ndungen der Prostata werden mit Antibiotika behandelt. Die Auswahl des Medikaments richtet sich nach dem ermittelten Erreger. Bei unkomplizierten akuten Erkrankungen reichen meist zehn Tage Antibiotika-Therapie aus.
Eine chronische Prostatitis muss jedoch oftmals ü ber einen lä ngeren Zeitraum behandelt werden. Es ist dabei wichtig, die Antibiotika auch bei Nachlassen der Beschwerden wie verordnet weiter einzunehmen. Ein zu frü hes Absetzen der Medikamente kann einen Rü ckfall und Resistenzbildungen der Bakterien begü nstigen. Unterstü tzend kö nnen Medikamente gegen die Schmerzen eingenommen werden - am besten in Form von Zä pfchen.
Wenn sich ein Prostataabszess gebildet hat, muss dieser vom Enddarm her eingeschnitten werden, damit sich der Eiter entleeren kann. Bei der Prostatadynie liegt keine Infektion vor, die mit Antibiotika behandelt werden kö nnte. Hier helfen Wä rmeanwendungen, Bewegungsü bungen zur Lockerung der Beckenbodenmuskulatur, autogenes Training und evtl. Medikamente zur Muskelentspannung.
In einigen Fä llen sind auch therapeutische Gesprä che erfolgreich.
