Bimetal Thermometer

1. Application
Bimetal Thermometer is a measuring gauge which used bimetal piece as sensor part to measure low or medium temperature. Compare to the glass thermometer, it has advantages as non-Hg, clear in reading, durable. Widely used in machinery, chemical industry, textile, medicine, foodstuffs, vessel and so on for measuring and controlling the temperature.

2. Principle
Bimetal thermometer is middle low temperature field measurement instrument which can directly measure the temperature of steam and gas in the various production processes within range of -80  and + 600  . The major component of bimetal thermometers for industrial use is a multi-layer metal which is made of two or more metal layers together on the principle that swelling degrees of two different metals at different levels of temperature are different. It is composed of two sheet metals that are coiled up into a ring bent shape. The swelling of heating end of metal can drive the pointer rotates, as a result, the temperature value of thermoelectric power will be displayed on the meter.
Bimetal Thermometer is designed only to meet the needs of the scene temperature, but also to meet the long-distance transmission needs.
