U-shaped evacuated tube solar collector, in operation, uses the absorption layer to transform solar light into heat energy. Then it transfers the heat to the working media depending upon the fin and U-shaped copper pipe in the manner of thermal conduction. The working media is forced to circulate by the circulating pump to heat the water in the tank. Comparing with the flat plate collector, it has a smaller thermal loss, stronger adaptability and better performance of aging-resistant membranous layer.
