Epoxy-resin Prepreg DMD is a three-layer flexible composite material, consisting of PET film ( e.g.Mylar) covered on both sides with non-woven fabric ( some call this fabric dacron or fleece) , and is lacquered on both sides with an expoxy resin in B-stage.
Epoxy-resin Prepreg DMD has high electrical and mechanical strength and shows good adhesive properties against metallic surfaces.
Epoxy-resin Prepreg DMD is used as interlayer insulation between layers of copper or aluminum foil in dry type transformers of insulation class F.
