Description
Solar power system consists of solar batteries, solar controller, battery ( group) composition. If input power is AC 220V or 110V, also need to configure inverter. The role of the various parts are as below:
� Solar Panels
Solar panels is a core part of solar power system, Its role is to convert the sun' s radiant energy into electrical energy, stored or sent to the batteries or to promote the work load.
� Solar Controller
The role of solar controller is to control the working status of the entire system, protect against battery overcharge or over-discharge.
The controller should also have qualified temperature compensation function, Other additional features such as light-control switch, , time control switch.
� Battery
Generally lead-acid batteries, small micro-system, can also be used nickel metal hydride batteries, nickel cadmium batteries or lithium batteries. Its role is to store the solar power and release when needed.
� Inverter
Direct output of solar energy are generally 12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC. To provide 220VAC power for the use of electrical appliances, DC of Solar power system needs to be changed to AC. Therefore it needs to use the DC-AC inverters.
