Fully loaded with Sounder, GPS/Chartplotter and XM Weather, the Garmin GPSMAP 440sx does it all for the small boat. If you own a small boat and are limited on console space, but want the very best, the Garmin 440sx is the answer. The GPSMAP 440sx 4� QVGA display is crisp and clear, and viewable in any lighting situation. The Garmin 440sx’s built in antenna is perfect for any open boat, and the BNC connection for the optional GA-29 Remote Antenna allows perfect reception for the boat with a T-top or a hard top. The GPSMAP 440sx is great on a small boat with limited space or along side of a network system as a back up GPS.

The built in 500-watt sounders makes the 440sx great for both casual boater and serious fisherman. Included with the Garmin GPSMAP 440sx is a dual-frequency, 50/200 kHz transom mount transducer, for both shallow and deep water performance. The 440sx is able to read to depths of 1500 feet. All of the features of a high end sonar are included with the Garmin 440sx including, 2X, 4X, and bottomlock zoom, A-scope, split zoom, and the all new Garmin AutoGain technology for enhanced target visability.

Pre-loaded to every Garmin GPSMAP 440sx is the BlueChart G2 data for the entire United States, including Alaska and Hawaii as well as the detailed charts for the Bahamas. The BlueChart G2 data features detailed coastlines, navaids, port plans, depth contours, wrecks, and restricted areas, as well as tide and current data. This data can be further enhanced in the GPSMAP 440sx with the addition of a BlueChart G2 vision chart. The G2 vision charts will add high-resolution photomapping detail, real picture arial images of ports, harbors, marinas, waterways, points of interest and other navigation landmarks.

The Garmin GPSMAP 440sx also comes packaged as a GPSMAP 440sx. The GPSMAP 440sx package has all of the same features that the as 440s, but it includes the GXM-31 antenna for real time weather from XM. The XM Satellite Weather is a monthly subscription that will give you access to Real Time weather such as NEXRAD radar, current weather conditions and forecasts, as well as sea surface temperatures, wind and wave direction, wave height, lightning and much more.
