method

- If the test sample in the form of solids, taking about 20 grams of material to be tested, add as many as 30 ml of water and whiz to mix. If the test sample is a liquid then skip this step

- Check the pH of test solution ( try a pH near neutral / 7, a check using pH paper) , if too sour add the Sodium Hydroxide ( NaOH) 2 mol / L or if it is too alkaline add hydrochloric acid ( HCl) 2 mol / L to pH neutral .

- Take 2 drops ( 0.1 ml) test solution and add 2 drops ( 0.1 ml) Reagent A

- Mix and add 2 drops ( 0.1 ml) Reagent B, wait about 10 minutes

- If the form of purple / red means tested fabrics containing nitrite
