    Polyethylene pipes are produced from the raw material obtained through the polymerization of Ethylene gas. The number â100â refers 10.0 Mpa, which is the environmental tension value (Ã) of the product. This value started off as around 32 and studies on 125 continues. As this value increases it means that the endurance against pressure increases. Therefore, for the same pressure group as it increases wall-thickness decreases. Improvements on these values provide cost effectiveness against alternative products and increase the market share.

    Polyethylene is a thermoplastic product and so it is recyclable. Being able to use the defective product again provides cost advantages. Considering environmental issues, these products can be used for the production of secondary type products when collected back.

    Since they conform to the shape of the earth, canal opening and excavation costs are minimized. They are easily installed by connecting outside the canal and then placing in.

    When the line is damaged, both sides of the damage are chocked and the line is repaired. Therefore, the pipe is repaired without stopping the potable water totally.
    Since it can be bend 20-35 times its radius less number of elbows is used.

    They are resistant to UV radiation via the carbon black additive used in it.
