Geographic Information System or GIS is a specialized information system that manages data using inforamsi spatial ( spatial) or in the narrow sense can be defined as a computer system that has the ability to build, store, manage and display geographically referenced information, such as data identified by location, geography , geology, planning, business marketing, health and many other disciplines have also been utilizing the tools and how geographic information systems ( LATIN, 2010) .

With training and spatial mapping using the software ArcView GIS and GPS, participants are able to master a standard map-making and are able to develop a base map as well as other sources such as maps, Land Use Plan Map Province or District, Landsat / Landsat, etc. in accordance with geodetic coordinates and UTM ( Purwanto, 2010) .
