Dioctyl Sebacate ( DOS) is especially suitable for producing cold-resisting electric wire, cable, imitation paper, plastic film and plant. But its high migratory aptitude makes Dioctyl Sebacate ( DOS) easy to be extracted by solvent of kind, and its water-proof property is not so good ( better than ABS) , Dioctyl Sebacate ( DOS) is usually used together with DOP. Dioctyl Sebacate ( DOS) can serve as plasticizer in low temperature for compound rubber, Dioctyl Sebacate ( DOS) has no effect on the sulfuration of the rubber.
