DESCRIPTION
The course is designed to : Learn the function and common parts that are easily subjected
to wear in pneumatic components, Gain wider knowledge of complex pneumatic circuit design. Read and construct the complex system with supplementary
conditions, Identify the possible causes of failure in a complex pneumatic system. Provide a systematic approach in fault finding and correction
COURSE CONTENT
1) Function and operation of air purification equipment
2) Common wearing of parts in pneumatic components
3) Preventive maintenance of pneumatic systems
4) Design of various controls ( Logic, Memory, Time-Dependent, Pressure-Dependent, Intermediate Position, Counting, Shooting- Out
and Falling Prevention, Vacuum Controls)
5) Reading of complex circuit with step diagram
6) Signal overlapping and various methods of signal cut-off
7) Sequential design with supplementary conditions ( Single/ Continuous cycle, Manual/ Automatic mode, Emergency stop design etc)
8 ) Practical exercises with systematic troubleshooting
