MicroDrop system removes contaminants, trace species, especially arsenic, from the water. It achieves this by co-precipitaing the trace species during oxidation, and precipitation of iron compounds with subsequent separation. The co-precipitation process is further improved by contacting the water with an iron-containing material prior to oxidation to increase the iron content of the water.

Harmful arsenic and other trace species are significantly reduced in the water, allowing it to achieve the very restrictive arsenic level suitable for drinking, agriculture, or animal/fish-farming.

MicroDrop is also an effective system for:
