YC6T series Features:

YC6T series is newly and specially developed for marines' operation requirements by Yuchai adopting advanced technologies from Germany, USA and Japan, which is ideal for powering various marines.

1. Reliability and Durability

Yuchai 6T is developed in accordance with stringent mechanical R & D verification standards' & D of all products have passed more than ten verification tests, such as the deep cold and hot impact test, severe cold and high temperature test, crankshaft fatigue test etc., and the durability bench test for accumulated 20000 hours. Alloy cast iron block ensures higher strength; One-piece forged-steel crankshafts improve itself in the fatigue and wear resistance; High-strength alloy connecting rod provides more reliable movement;

Piston with internal coolant oil passages and one-ring cooling technology lower the piston temperature and decrease the engine oil consumption, improving the piston in reliability; The cylinder head has adopted the one head and four valves per cylinder cunstruction, lowering the piston temperature, decreasing the oil consumption and improving the piston in reliability; High responsibility is also ensures by its admission mechansim, high-positioned camshaft arrangement, short and thick push rod, roller and tappet; Better quality comes from advanced equipments and quality control means from casing to assembly.

2. Fuel efficiency and Money saving

AVL four-valve per cylinder technology broaden intake and exhaust areas dramatically and provides better atomization and more complete combustion; P pump and P injector ensure higher injection pressure and stronger performance; Injector and combustion chamber are matched more reasonably, better mixture optimizes fuel atomization; Holset/ LianXin turbocharger has wider economical working conditions; Mechanical losses are dramatically reduced by more than 15% , pumped compressed air loss and consumption become less; Fuel consumption is reduced by 10-15% compared with diesel engines of the same power category.

3. Safety and comfort

Fresh water cooled exhaust pipe is optional to lower the temperature in marine' s engine compartment; Double energy starting sources, I. E. Either electric or pneumatic may be selected, so as to meet the requirements of special marines, such as chemical etc., for safety;
