Specification:	Features: For In Vitro Diagnostic Use VACUPRIMEâ„¢ tubes are used to transport and process blood for testing serum/plasma or whole blood in the clinical laboratory. VACUPRIMEâ„¢ tubes are vacuum tubes with colored closures. There are glass and PET ( Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic tubes. A silicone coating on the inner wall surface of the tubes reduces adherence of red cells to tube walls. Tube stoppers are also lubricated with silicone to facilitate stopper insertion. Both tube types contain additives in varying concentration dependent upon the amount of vacuum and the required additive to blood ratio for the tube. Additive choice depends on the analytic test method.
