Probiotics KITA-Thiobacillus ® is a probiotic anaerobic pond bottom that is capable of living in conditions without oxygen and in conditions of nutrient-poor environments. So KITA-Thiobacillus ® is suitable for use as a bioremediation in the layers of mud bottom of the pond where the rate of decomposition is very slow because oxygen can not penetrate layers of mud.
Probiotics ® KITA-Thiobacillus group contains three species of bacteria Thiobacillus spp. working together to improve the quality of the pond environment. Metabolized by the bacteria do not consume oxygen dissolved chemoautotroph but by utilizing nitrate compounds, sulfur, iron 3 + ions as a source of energy. So the application of probiotics KITA-Thiobacillus ® in ponds is very useful for mentralisir toxic gases such as H2S and NO2 and minimize oxygen consumption based pool. So that the oxygen content ( DO) based pool can remain well preserved.
