Analog instruments are usually based on a microammeter whose pointer moves over a scale calibrated for all the different measurements that can be made; digital instruments usually display digits, but may display a bar of length proportional to the quantity measured.

MX 26 has the correct level of 100 kHz, 5000-count TRMS digital multimeter ( typical accuracy 0.3% ) is really easy to read. Using digital infrared output, the MX 26 can be connected directly to a computer in total security. Users can record data, present in the form of graphs and export as needed to an Excel spreadsheet-type with SX-DMM2 software supplied with the instrument up to 50¼ F.
