    SPOT-WELDABLE STRAIN GAUGE ( Model SFO-W)

    The SFO-W spot-weldable fiber optic strain gauge is compatible with most Roctest' s fiber optic unit readings and dataloggers.

    The SFO-W consists of small diameter stainless steel tube welded to the steel plate. Very suitable for spotwelding on steel surfaces.
    This sensor is based on optical fiber strain gauge which is a unique breakthrough in fiber optic sensing.
    Measuring extrinsic Fabry-Perot strain is bound in steel tube, so follow the movements of attraction or press gauge place-las.
    SFO-W Estimator is designed to be installed by technicians without assistance from skilled welders. SFO-W Estimator is intended for long-term, precise measurement of strain on various structures. It can be installed on flat or cylindrical surface.
