Our sourcing process:
1. Our client needs a product
2. Peak Power assists the client in determining their specific needs by defining
-Product specifications
-Quantity
-Delivery date required
-Target price
-Packaging
-Weight and volume
-Mode of transportation
3. Peak Power will begin by searching its network of China suppliers for the most competitive price and delivery. Numerous suppliers are contacted via telephone, fax, e-mail, and face to face. Suppliers are shown product samples and/ or photographs and specifications.
4. For a general commodity item, the supplier submits photographs of their products. Once the client approves the photograph, a sample is shipped to us for close inspection. The client is responsible for the cost of the sample and shipment.
5. If the shipped sample serves the clients need, an â € œ approval of sampleâ € document is signed by the client and submitted to Peak Power.
6. Supplier bids are then sent to the client company along with Peak Power' s agreed upon mark up percentage, and recommendations concerning the supplier of choice.
7. Payment terms and options are discussed and agreed upon ( Letters of Credit â € œ L/ Câ € , advance payment, sales commissions, etc.)
8. If the client agrees with the pricing and delivery, the client will fax an order to Peak Power( original send via FedEx if necessary) . At this time, the client will also provide Peak Power with detailed information of L/ C payment, unless down payment is made in advance.
9. Transportation details ( air/ maritime, cost, date of sailing, insurance, etc.) and a delivery date will be arranged and scheduled.
10. If the client desires, Peak Power will hire at the clientâ € ™ s expense an independent inspection company to inspect the container before it is shipped to ensure that the quality of the product and the quantity shipped is in accordance with the order. However, for most clients this is not necessary since Peak Power has its own group of Merchandisers and Quality inspectors who are out in the factories on a daily basis checking on orders and performing inspections as part of our normal service included in our pricing.
11. If needed, we will send samples to the client for approval prior to shipping. Samples can also be sent of the initial production as well as from the completed order.
12. Once approved by the client and/ or Peak Power, the merchandise is then shipped.
13. Once the merchandise arrived at the destination port, the client may choose any freight forwarder to clear the merchandise from Customs.
14. Peak Power will attempt to solve any problem between the client and the supplier that may appear at this time or any time during the sourcing and purchasing process.
