About MNAL : In 2005, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. ( M& M) and International Truck and Engine Corporation - the operating company of Navistar - entered into a Joint Venture to manufacture light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles for India as well as global markets. The joint venture is in the process of addressing every segment of the commercial vehicle market from 3.5 tonne Gross Vehicle Weight to 49 tonne Gross Combination Weight with variants of passenger transport, cargo and specialized load applications. The Mahindra Navistar trucks are manufactured at M& M' s new state of the art manufacturing facility spreading over 700 acres Plant at green field plant at Chakan, near Pune. Aiming to provide high performance solution for the commercial vehicle segments, MNAL started sales in Octâ € ™ 10 through a number of exclusive dealerships in addition to existing M& M centres across India. The Mahindra Navistar team has over 500 people involved in the development , sales and support of its products.
