Class B DMD Flexible Laminate is a three-layer flexible composite material, consisting of PET film ( e.g.Mylar) covered on both sides with non-woven fabric ( some call this fabric dacron or fleece) . It has two derivatives: DM and DMDM.This DMD has excellent electrical, mechanical, and impregnating properties.
Class B DMD is mainly used as slot liner, slot closure, phase and turn-to-turn insulation in electrical motors. It can be used as interlayer insulation in transformers and other electrical appliances.
