MCPCB, which stands for Metal Core Printed Circuit Board, is popular in LED PCB industry, because of its great heat thermally conductive performance.

A simple single layer MCPCB consists of a metal base ( usually aluminum) , Dielectric ( non-conducting) Layer, Copper Circuit Layer, IC components and solder mask.

Double layers MCPCB is consisting of two layers of copper conductor, put them on same side of metal base ( usually aluminum) . The metal base is on the bottom of whole MCPCB, which is different from two sided MCPCB ( the two copper layers were put on the top and bottom side of metal core respectively, so the metal core is in the middle of two copper layers) .

With the rich experience of MCPCB manufacturing, we can make the MCPCB at 2 OZ ( normally one is 1 OZ) , 3.0mm thickness, 2 layers, and the length can be 1, 000 mm, ROHS compliance and the Surface finishing can be HASL( lead-free) / gold plating/ Immersion Ni/ AU/ OSP.
