Due to the tendency of equipment enlargement, we have developed explosive hammer head by super high-manganese steel which is suitable for large-sized hammerheads. In contrast with conventional high-manganese steel, super high-manganese steel is better in harden ability of machining by repeated impact, shock resistance and scour resistance. As the manganese content is added, the yield strength and deformability of the material increases, the wearing resistance of hammerheads improves greatly.
